1. Payments — Non-Negotiable

All buyer payments must pass through CampusDec's escrow system at all times. You may never request, suggest, or accept direct payment from a buyer through any external channel — including bank transfers, mobile money (OPay, PalmPay, etc.), cash handovers, or any off-platform method. Doing so will result in immediate and permanent account suspension.

2. Fixed Prices

All prices listed on CampusDec are fixed and non-negotiable. You may not offer discounts, counter-offers, or engage in any price negotiation — whether within the in-app chat, via external messaging, or by any other method. The platform enforces this rule at the UI, backend, and moderation level simultaneously.

3. Commission — 10% Flat Rate

CampusDec automatically deducts a flat 10% commission from every completed sale at the point of payout. This rate is non-negotiable and cannot be waived, reduced, or bypassed under any circumstance. Example: if a buyer pays ₦20,000 for your item, your payout is ₦18,000. You acknowledge this by submitting a listing.

4. Listing Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of every listing you create. This includes the title, description, condition, photos, and defect disclosure. Misleading listings — including misrepresenting condition, hiding defects, or using stolen photos — are a serious policy violation and may result in listing removal, account suspension, and forfeiture of payout on affected orders.

5. Ownership

By listing an item, you confirm that you are either the lawful owner of the item or are authorised by the owner to sell it. Listing stolen or counterfeit items is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban and potential referral to authorities.

6. Defect Disclosure

If an item is not fully functional or has visible defects, you must describe them clearly and completely in the listing. Failure to disclose defects that later result in a buyer dispute may result in a full refund to the buyer, with your payout forfeited.

7. Prohibited Items

The following categories are strictly prohibited on CampusDec: alcohol and tobacco products, prescription or controlled medications, weapons of any kind, counterfeit or replica branded goods, sexually explicit content, live animals, and any item that is illegal under Nigerian law. Attempting to list prohibited items will result in permanent account suspension.

8. Chat Conduct

The in-app chat exists solely for logistics: arranging delivery, confirming availability, and clarifying listing details. All chats are monitored by the CampusDec admin team. Prohibited chat behaviour includes: price negotiation, sharing personal contact details, directing buyers to external payment methods, harassment, or any abusive language.

9. Delivery Obligations

If you select Seller Delivery, you are legally obligated to honour the delivery fee and coverage area you specified in your listing. Failure to deliver within your stated area results in automatic order cancellation, a strike on your account, and potential suspension after repeat violations.

10. Payouts

Payouts are released within 24 hours of a buyer confirming delivery or after the 48-hour auto-release timer triggers — whichever comes first. If a dispute is raised within the 24-hour dispute window, your payout is frozen pending admin resolution. CampusDec's admin decision is final and binding.

11. Account Conduct

You may only hold one CampusDec account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, gain unfair advantage, or manipulate the platform is prohibited. All accounts are tied to a unique email and phone number. Violations result in permanent ban of all associated accounts.
